HRHCare Community HealthCorps Participate in Poughkeepsie Project Connect

On January 25th, members from the HRHCare Community HealthCorps, the largest health-focused AmeriCorps program, joined the Dutchess County Housing Consortium and other local organizations to present Project Impact in Poughkeepsie. This project seeks to survey homeless members of the community in order to secure direct funding to address their needs. HRHCare Community HealthCorps members provided free blood pressure screenings to those in attendance as well as set up appointments for them at the closest HRHCare Health Center. Other organizations in attendance provided free housing assistance, haircuts, groceries and other important services. Many thanks to all of our dedicated Community HealthCorps!
