Free Living Healthy with Diabetes Workshops in Peekskill

HRHCare will host a free Living Healthy with Diabetes workshop series at the Jeannette J. Phillips Health Center in Peekskill, starting May 11th. This six-week course is designed for people living with diabetes, their caregivers, and loved ones.

The workshops will cover:

• Finding practical ways to deal with sickness, fatigue and pain
• Better food and exercise choices
• Understanding new treatment options
• Learning more effective ways to talk with your doctor and family about your health

All participants will also have a chance to receive a $25 gift card if they participate in four or more classes!

The workshops will take place in the lower level conference room of the Jeannette J. Phillips Health Center, located at 1037 Main Street in downtown Peekskill. The series will occur every Thursday from May 11th until June 15th from 1 to 3:30 PM.
