HRHCare Communications and Advocacy Director to Receive NACHC Grassroots MVP Award

HRHCare Community Health is pleased to announce that Emily Fetterhoff, HRHCare Director of Communications and Advocacy, will receive a Grassroots MVP Award from the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) during an awards reception on March 30th at the Newseum in Washington, D.C. This award acknowledges Ms. Fetterhoff’s outstanding efforts to ensure that Members of Congress representing the HRHCare region of southeastern New York State support community health centers, and her work to expand grassroots advocacy efforts.

Originally from Elizabethville, Pennsylvania, Ms. Fetterhoff studied Health Policy and Administration at the Pennsylvania State University, and completed the Geiger-Gibson Fellowship in Community Health Policy and Leadership at George Washington University. She has worked for HRHCare Community Health since 2010, and she continues to be passionate about expanding the network’s services to populations in need across New York State.

The NACHC Grassroots MVP Award is named in honor of the late Elizabeth K. Cooke. Her constant persistence as an advocate for community health centers in the United States has set a prime example for other health center advocates to follow.
