HRHCare Offers Living With Diabetes Course in Spring Valley

Spring Valley, NY – HRHCare (Hudson River HealthCare), a nonprofit, federally qualified healthcare system offering a range of medical services for underserved areas throughout the Hudson Valley and Long Island, is organizing a free six-week Healthy Choices NY education program for people dealing with diabetes starting on August 26th.

The Living Healthy with Diabetes workshops will help you with:

  • Finding practical ways to deal with sick days, fatigue and pain.
  • Discovering better food and exercise choices.
  • Understanding new treatment choices.
  • Learning better ways to talk with your doctor and loved ones about your health.
  • Learning real-life skills for living a full and healthy life.

The workshops will be held between 9:30 AM and 12:00 PM on Tuesday mornings at the HRHCare Spring Valley Health Center, 2 Perlman Drive, Spring Valley, New York. The dates are August 26th and September 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th.
