HRHCare Partners with Long Island Cares on Mobile Breakfast Food Truck Initiative

Long Island Cares, Inc. – The Harry Chapin Food Bank has developed a new and innovative program to reach out to children and provide them with a nutritious and ready-to-eat breakfast at times when schools are closed and other community resources may not be available.  The second-of-its-kind Mobile Breakfast Food Truck will travel throughout Suffolk County to reach some of the 70,000 children in need and provide them with cold cereals, low fat milk, fresh fruit and healthy snacks to combat domestic hunger and high food insecurity at the most critical time of their day. Goshen Teen Receives HRHCare Alamo Recognition Award for Community Service

Goshen, NY – HRHCare Community Health is pleased to announce that Mark Laaninen, a senior at Goshen High School, received a special HRHCare Alamo Recognition Award for his community service work at the HRHCare Alamo Health and Farmworker Community Centers at Goshen. Presented with his award at the Annual Volunteer Luncheon at the Alamo, Mark was joined by nearly 30 other volunteers at the ceremony.
