Alamo Farmworkers Community Center Hosts Second Annual Holiday Store

The HRHCare Alamo Farmworkers Community Center is proud to announce their second annual Holiday Store for farmworkers and their families on December 20^th and 21st! Through this program farmworkers and their families are able to purchase gifts at a highly discounted rate, approximately 10% of the estimated price, with all of the proceeds used to support additional programs directly serving the same community. Last year the program was extremely successful, reaching over 130 families.

The Alamo is need of donations of new, unwrapped gifts for the entire family as well as monetary donations to support the store. Some of the most in-demand gifts include flatware sets, blenders, perfume, men’s work pants and shirts, dolls and toy cars. Sponsors to purchase sewing machines, $130 each, for the Alamo sewing classes are also being sought. The Holiday Store is open on Saturday, December 20^th and Sunday, December 21^st from 12 PM to 6 PM. All donations are tax-deductible.
