Art Exhibit at the HRHCare Jeannette J. Phillips Health Center in Peekskill

An exhibition of local art called Convergences: Connecting Community and Creativity will open on May 14th in the Atrium of the HRHCare Jeannette J. Phillips Health Center in Peekskill. This exhibit is jointly sponsored by HRHCare, the Peekskill Arts Association, and the Hudson Valley Center for Contemporary Art, and will run through June 28th. On Saturday, May 19th, there will be a reception in honor of the exhibit in the Atrium from 12 to 2pm. Hudson River Health Care was honored to host the Westchester County Public Health Awards once again in the Atrium of our Jeannette J. Phillips Health Center in Peekskill. HRHCare Board Chair Hon. On March 19th, Officer Katie Hansen of the Warwick Police Department visited a meeting of the Young Outstanding Latina Organization, a social group for local teenage girls, at the Hudson River Health Care (HRHCare) Alamo Community Center to give a workshop on pursuing a career in the police force. Community Room Opens at Riverhead Health Center

Hudson River Health Care, in partnership with Healthfirst, was proud to  welcome a number of elected officials and community leaders recently to open the new Community Room at HRHCare Riverhead. Among other programs, the Community Room will host “Story Time” for children every two weeks beginning in October, as well as ESL classes. The HRHCare Hudson Valley mobile health unit made a stop by the Martin Luther King Center in Spring Valley to provide free flu shots to community members. As the flu season is expected to last through May, it is still not too late to get vaccinated.
