HRHCare Director of Communications and Advocacy Emily Fetterhoff Honored as National Association of Community Health Centers Outstanding Advocate

Peekskill, NY – HRHCare, one of largest federally qualified health center (FQHC) systems in the country, announced today that Emily Fetterhoff, its Director of Communications and Advocacy, has been named an Outstanding Advocate by the National Association of Community Health Centers. The award, a monthly recognition given to community health leaders across the country, celebrates the innovative outreach practices Emily has brought to her role at HRHCare.

“I’m thrilled to see NACHC honor Emily for her tireless commitment to quality healthcare for New Yorkers in need,” said Anne Kauffman Nolon, MPH, President and CEO of HRHCare. “Her passion and energy are huge assets to our team, and I look forward to fighting alongside her as HRHCare expands its services for underserved populations all over our state.”

Originally from Elizabethville, PA, Emily studied Health Policy and Administration at the Pennsylvania State University and completed the Geiger-Gibson Fellowship in Community Health Policy and Leadership at George Washington University. She has worked with HRHCare since 2010.
