HRHCare’s HealthCorps: Blood Cancer Research & Awareness

HRHCare’s Community HealthCorps® Members Walk to Raise Funds for Blood Cancer Research and Awareness

 

Peekskill, NY – HRHCare (Hudson River HealthCare), a nonprofit, federally qualified health care system offering a range of medical services for underserved communities throughout the Hudson Valley and Long Island, is proud to announce that several members of their Community HealthCorps®, the largest national health-focused AmeriCorps program in the country, will participate in the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Light The Night Westchester Walk.

 

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, founded in 1949, is the world’s largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research, education and patient services. Every year the Light The Night Walks further the cause by raising funds and awareness across North America with nearly 200 walks occurring each autumn.

 

The Westchester Light The Night Walk will take place at the Playland Amusement Park, 100 Playland Parkway, in Rye, New York, from 12 PM until 8 PM on Saturday, November 1st.
