Three HRHCare Staff Certified as NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home Content Experts

CCEsPeekskill, NY – HRHCare Community Health is pleased to announce that Katherine Brieger, HRHCare Chief of Patient Experience and Staff Development, Sheila Conklin, VP, Quality, and Catalina Uruchima, Patient Experience Coordinator, have all been certified by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) as Patient-Centered Medical Home Certified Content Experts (CCEs). With fewer than 900 individuals nationwide recognized as CCEs, this certification comes after the completion of two NCQA educational seminars, passing a comprehensive exam, and demonstrating the commitment to continuous learning and re-certification in order to maintain this credential.

All who have achieved this certification have demonstrated their expertise of the NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) Recognition Program and are presented with a variety of tools which will support their own practice transformation and boost the confidence of their client base. With recognized practices in nearly every state, the NCQA PCMH Recognition Program is the most sought after and widely accepted PCMH program in the nation. Being recognized by the NCQA requires deliberate strategies and efforts in transforming a practice into a medical home, and CCEs play a vital role in facilitating this process. By achieving this prestigious credential, these individuals are regarded as experts in the field and are officially aligned with the NCQA mission to improve the quality of health care.
