Community Room Opens at Riverhead Health Center

Hudson River Health Care, in partnership with Healthfirst, was proud to  welcome a number of elected officials and community leaders recently to open the new Community Room at HRHCare Riverhead. Among other programs, the Community Room will host “Story Time” for children every two weeks beginning in October, as well as ESL classes.

This Community Room will serve as a great way to further engage the Riverhead community, and make our patients feel welcome. Many local business have expressed interest in donating toys, books, and other items for the room. The Riverhead Library has been particularly generous in their donations, and has already sent representatives to read to children while waiting for their appointments.
