Peekskill, NY – The design of the recently renovated HRHCare Jeannette J. Phillips Health Center in Peekskill, created by Gallin Beeler Design Studio, received an award from the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Westchester + Hudson Valley Chapter at their annual Design Awards ceremony on Wednesday, October11.
The AIA Westchester + Hudson Valley Design Awards recognizes local architects who have made a positive aesthetic and social contribution to the built environment, and have increased public awareness of quality architectural design.
The health center renovation, completed earlier this year, included the addition of a two-story, light-filled atrium, an urgent care wing, and renovated patient waiting and exam rooms.
“The design of our newly renovated health center by Gallin & Beeler makes our services more accessible to patients, and is a beautiful addition to Peekskill’s Main Street,” said Anne Kauffman Nolon, MPH, President and CEO of HRHCare. “Our new facility design is a celebration of community connection and of our Founders’ dream of the highest quality health care offered in a healing quality environment.
