At 40th Anniversary Celebration, HRHCare Renames Flagship Facility in Honor of Founding Mother Rev. Jeannette J. Phillips

PEEKSKILL, NY – Congresswoman Nita Lowey, Westchester County Legislator Catherine Borgia, and Peekskill Mayor Frank Catalina today joined health pioneer Dr. Jack Geiger and executives and staff of HRHCare for a 40th Anniversary ribbon cutting event to rededicate HRHCare’s flagship facility in Peekskill and rename it in honor of Reverend Jeannette J. Phillips. Phillips served as the organization’s first board president in 1975 and is the last living “founding mother” of HRHCare. Come visit the HRHCare Day of Wellness at Pugsley Park, directly across the street from the HRHCare Health Center at Peekskill, on July 13th! Enjoy free activities, health screenings, games, a zumba class, dance performances, a magician and music provided by DJ Pete Peterson. You’ll also have the opportunity to learn more about HRHCare’s 40 year history, learn about our health care services and speak to someone about health insurance coverage. The HRHCare Day of Wellness will take place in Pugsley Park, 1038 Main Street in Peekskill, from 10 AM until 3 PM on Monday, July 13th.
