Sally Mullaney
Peekskill, NY – HRHCare (Hudson River HealthCare), a nonprofit, Federally Qualified Health Center offering a range of medical services for underserved communities throughout the Hudson Valley and Long Island, is proud to announce that Sally Mullaney, a patient care partner at HRHCare’s Health Center in Hudson, will be presented with a Planetree Award for excellence in patient care. HRHCare’s Planetree Institute presents these awards to employees who go above and beyond to make health care more personalized and create a warm and welcoming environment for all.
Known for her breadth of knowledge and dedication to patient advocacy, Sally Mullaney serves as the “go to” person at HRHCare’s Health Center in Hudson. From referrals to costs to insurance information, Sally has it covered and goes to great lengths in order to get the patients the information and care required. “I like to provide accessibility,” said Mullaney. “Patients want you to be there for them at the moment they need you. Helping our patients get what they need, even outside of medical care, is something that we all strive for here.” Along with her dedication to high quality medical care, Mullaney has also endeavored to make the Hudson Health Center a beautiful space with seasonal flowers and décor and has done extensive work in beautifying the site’s garden. She also enjoys gardening at home, delving into a good book and taking care of her Mastiff and Great Dane.
“Sally has contributed in so many ways to the overall positive atmosphere here,” said Liza MacPherson, Licensed Practical Nurse at HRHCare’s Hudson Health Center. “Patients and staff love her, and she is an integral part of the Hudson Health Center’s great team.”
