HRHCare Offers Free Living Well with Diabetes Workshops in Poughkeepsie

Hudson River Health Care (HRHCare) is pleased to announce the launch of a free Living Well with Diabetes workshop series in Poughkeepsie on March 14. This six-week program is for anyone living with diabetes, their caregivers, and loved ones.

Topics covered in the series include:

• Practical ways to deal with sickness, fatigue, and pain
• Better food and exercise choices
• New treatment options
• Better ways to talk with your doctor and loved ones about your health
• Real-life skills for living a full, healthy life

The HRHCare Living Well with Diabetes workshop series will be held from 10am to 12:30pm at the Dutchess County Department of Behavioral and Community Health, 88 Civic Center Plaza, in Poughkeepsie. It will begin on March 14 and continue every Thursday until April 18. Participants will have the chance to win a $25 gift card for participating in four or more classes.
