Living Well with Diabetes Workshops in Poughkeepsie

In collaboration with the Dutchess County Department of Behavioral and Community Health, Hudson River Health Care will offer a free six-week education program for people living with diabetes, their caregivers, and loved ones. The workshops will help with finding practical ways to deal with sick days, fatigue, and pain, discovering better food and exercise choices, new treatments, learning better ways to talk with doctors and loved ones about health issues, and real-life skills for living a full and healthy life. All participants will have the chance to receive a $25 gift card for participating in four or more classes.

The Living Well with Diabetes Workshops will be held on September 17 and 24 and October 1, 8, 15, and 22. All sessions will take place at the Dutchess County Department of Behavioral and Community Health, located at 85 Civic Center Plaza, Suite 106, in Poughkeepsie.
