NYS Senator Alessandra Biaggi Visits Brightpoint Westchester Square Health Center

Bronx, New York – On Friday, November 15, New York State Senator Alessandra Biaggi, representing the 34th Senate District of New York, visited the Brightpoint Westchester Square Health Center, a member of Hudson River Health Care (HRHCare). Senator Biaggi had the opportunity to meet health center staff, tour the site, and learn about the integrated primary and behavioral health care and vital social services that the health center provides.

“It was a pleasure to meet with the Brightpoint Health Center Team and learn about the community initiatives they offer to Bronxites,” said State Senator Alessandra Biaggi (D-Bronx/Westchester). “I thank them for their commitment to providing quality health care services in District 34 and look forward to working with them to build stronger communities.”

“We are pleased to host Senator Alessandra Biaggi at the Brightpoint Westchester Square Health Center, now a member of the Hudson River Health Care family,” said Anne Kauffman Nolon, MPH, HRHCare CEO. “We thank the Senator for partnering with us to provide integrated primary and behavioral health care for all in her district and keep the Bronx in good health.”

The state-of-the-art Brightpoint Westchester Square Health Center has offered primary and behavioral health care and a range of social services for those living with substance use disorders and survivors of domestic and sexual violence since 2016. In December of 2018, Brightpoint Health merged with Hudson River Health Care to provide a seamless network of care spanning from the Hudson Valley, through New York City, and out to the East End of Long Island.
