Barbara Smith-Foy, CNM is a certified nurse midwife at the HRHCare Poughkeepsie Health Center. A graduate of Vermont College in Montpelier, she went on to receive her MSN at Philadelphia University in Pennsylvania. Prior to joining HRHCare, she served patients at Westchester Medical Center in Kingston, Saratoga Hospital in Saratoga Springs, and has maintained active privileges at Kingston Hospital. Ms. Smith-Foy is licensed in the State of New York as a certified nurse midwife and is certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board.

Our care team gets to know our patients’ individual health needs, learn about their health history, keeps track of any medications they are taking, and works with them to create a personal care plan.
