DOT Physicals

Hudson River Health Care is pleased to announce that HRHCare Nyack Urgent Care physician Dr. Asma Khan is now certified to give DOT physicals. Department of Transportation (DOT) physicals are required by federl law for individuals who drive commericial motor vehicles to make sure they can handle the long hours, exhausting schedules, and the stress of operating a commerical vehicle. As Dr. Khan is the only HRHCare Urgent Care clinician in Nyack certified to perform these physicals, appointments for DOT physicals will need to be made in advance.

National Institutes of Health Sends All of Us Research Program Van to Peekskill

On Friday, August 3, the National Institutes of Health’s (NIH) All of Us Research Program van visited Peekskill, parking right outside the HRHCare Jeannette J. Phillips Health Center. Representatives from the offices of Congresswoman Nita Lowey, Assemblywoman Sandy Galef, and NYS Senator Terrence Murphy joined over 150 Peekskill residents who climbed onboard to speak with trained All of Us representatives and learn how providing their medical information could change the future of health care.
